Barrett’s Philosophy

Barrett Aerospace’s mission is to advance future aircraft technology as boldly as we can. We seek to innovate and design new ideas that are not only driven by commercial goals, but those that purposely challenge a new future for aviation. To bring future aircraft into being we focus our attention on always working together, to encourage passionate engineers to thrive and take the difficult path when necessary.

We continually focus on customer collaboration, as we believe working closely enhances relationships and brings out the best result in every project.

Being a privately owned company allows Barrett Aerospace to sometimes embark on its own projects, ensuring the company’s philosophy is embedded within all business opportunities and remaining agile to complete our projects at a breathtaking pace. Leading on from this, we have and will continue to ally with customers that share a similar ethos. To mutually grow together with companies that are as eager to create the future of aerospace as we do.

What We Do

Barrett Aerospace focuses on designing, building, testing and manufacturing components, assemblies and small vehicles in and out of the aerospace industry. Focusing primarily on composite materials as we believe this is the future of the industry.

Barrett Aerospace has teams and collaborators located globally. But operates out of its main office in Seletar Aerospace in Singapore, with mobile teams in Czech Republic, United Kingdom and India. Barrett believes that this geographical diversity helps utilise a wide range of skills providing collaborators and manufacturing from across Europe, India and Asia.

We utilise the strengths of our collaborators to achieve some of the best results in the industry. We have worked with established companies within the composite industry to achieve the builds of various aerospace and non-aerospace components. With high precision and a focus on virtual simulation and testing, we keep the costs low with data orientated and comprehensive results that are class leading. We can help you and your innovators to develop sketches into a well formulated and structured conceptual design. The best advice we offer is that anything involving composites is designed for composite technology. Your design should exploit the best attributes of what this exiting technology has to offer.

Furthermore, we believe it is important to utilise fresh minds and give back to the engineering community. Therefore, since 2017, Barrett Aerospace has allied with Brunel University to provide experience and opportunities for their students and has since successfully taken on two Brunel students annually for a year’s engineering placement. This has seen students work in The Czech Republic, India and Singapore with Barrett Aerospace’s partnered companies.
